When I try to install Bone_D64 everything on the installer comes up with the status 'install failed' almost immediately. The board is lighting up with the heartbeat pulses so it seems to be working although it comes up with a message saying there is a problem with the driver and i should scan and fix.

Any work arounds to get the drivers to install?

you should not install drivers for Windows 10 (or for anything newer than Windows Vista, FWIW), as long as you have a version of the Bela image release after Aug 2017 (IIRC). Does the device show up on your computer as a network interface?

The device is showing up as an audio device, storage device and a network infrastructure device. Everything else is as normal. I've uploaded a couple of screenshots that might help a bit. It still won't connect to the IP address or bela.local/.

Ryanm98 and a network infrastructure device.

that's good. Can you show the network settings for that device? It should be set to DHCP. What IP have you got on that interface?

Not sure where to find the network settings for that device, any idea where to look?

This page seems to have some info. https://www.top-password.com/blog/open-network-connections-in-windows-10/

    E.g.:

Open Network Connections via Control Panel
Open the Control Panel in category view, click the “View network status and tasks” link beneath the “Network and Internet” heading.
In the resulting window, click “Change adapter settings” on the left-hand side.
Now you can view a list of network connections on your system.
