here's an external i made for smoothing out pot values on Pepper.
easy to adapt for Bela (just add a multiplier to step up the input readings, i guess.)
should give you a 1000 step resolution from 0 to 1 on the output.

i seem to end up using this kind of thing all the time, so though it might come in handy for others as well.
i guess adapting this to spit out 1024 different values would come in handy for compatability with midi controllers and the like. feel free
