Bipolar Analog Inputs

Only a short question on the 8 analog inputs. I'm right, that there is no bipolar input on this channels? Rail-to-Rail is only from 4-0V, no negative -4V rail.
If I want to put i a bipolar signal, I have to shift it to 2V?

Correct. The input range is 0-4.096V. The power supply of the BeagleBone is unipolar, 5V.

We actually sell an audio expander capelet which (among other things) AC-couples the analog ins and allows you to connect bipolar signals straight to them.
