Hi all!
I've got a Pepper (Rev2) that I can't get any audio output from. I've hit a wall with troubleshooting on my own, so I'm hoping someone will notice something obvious I missed.
I'm matching what seems to be the required setup for audio output with amplification:
- powered via Eurorack 12v power ribbon cable
- '12V with regulator' jumper in place (rather than '5V straight from rack')
- 'Amplified audio w/ rack 12V' jumpers in place (rather than 'Bela audio out')
- '10V to pots from rack' jumper in place (rather than '3V3 to pots' - i know this isn't strictly related to audio output, but mentioning it just in case)
My test patch sends an osc~ at an audible frequency to dac~ 1-10, but I'm only able to hear it on 3-10. I've tried variations on the jumper and power settings above and I'm still not hearing anything.
On the Bela itself, audio output via J4 works fine for the test patch with the stereo minijack adapter, and I measured voltage around 0.6 from the 4 J9 pins. On the front of the Pepper, I don't get any voltage values from the 4 pins that connect to J9. I'm pretty sure my connections are good - I used the 8mm pin headers for the 4 pins that connect to J9 (along with the two rows of 10 pins).
Any suggestions on further troubleshooting? Thanks in advance!
