Alright something has happened, hopefully with minimal disruptions:

  • we are on beta6
  • we are on httpS !
  • you can write latex. Don't trust the preview, hit "post reply". A single $ will do inline such as $\sin\theta$, while a double one will do block:
    $$\frac{\cos(kx)}{\cos(x)}$$
  • you can attach images (they go to our imgur account, so be careful!)

just tried to make a post, and its now 'waiting for approval' ... has something changed since the update?

It should have not changed anything, I'll double check why this happened. Approved in the meantime

btw, it also looks like we cannot edit our posts any more? (or perhaps extra restrictions?)

you could edit them until the next reply. Now I set it to be able to edit indefinitely.
