I can't start my Bela. It's an old one, from the first batch on kickstarter so I thought it was about the version of the SD card. I put the last image on it but nothing changed: The bela starts and freezes a few seconds later with only user led 2 on. I can boot without the bela sd card and enter in BeagleBoard default environnement.

I tried to flash eMMC without success because I ain't got the files beaglebone-black-copy-microSD-to-eMMC.sh or bela_flash_emmc.sh I suppose Bela is actually not installed at all in eMMC

I tried this https://forum.bela.io/d/588-new-image-would-not-boot/6 without success because my SD doesn't contain the files u-boot.img or MLO the script is looking for:

root@beaglebone:/var/lib/cloud9# ls /mnt/sd
App Docs ID.txt nfs-uEnv.txt README.md START.htm
autorun.inf Drivers LICENSE.txt README.htm scripts System Volume Information

So I'm stuck. Any help appreciated

Hi, try option 1 or option 3 here https://learn.bela.io/using-bela/about-bela/troubleshooting-guide/#problems-booting-bela-from-the-sd-card that should fix it!

I tried both options without success:
Option 1 with homemade wires: the lights quickly flash and stop, nothing happen then
Option 3: The lights do not turn on at all
Shall I try option 2?

wondering if there is something wrong with the wires ... anyhow ... try option 2!

I've ordered proper wires If it persists I'll try option 2

although option 3 with the cape removed should work the same as the wires ... maybe option 2 is the way to go, though!

I tried option 2 with same results: no lights, no boot
I bought a new SD and that was it! Bela booted right away and I've been able to flash eMMC
