Hey There,
Currently I'm working on a multichannnel sampler/looper where i use multiple Bela's in one device (btw, Great piece of equipment!)
For this project i'm using PureData, one Bela (starterkit) and two BelaMini's (starterkit). So its a three-channel audio processor. What i was trying to do was, making a 'master audio output' by connecting the audio-outlets (dac~1) of all three bela's to one TRS-socket.
However, when I try to interconnect the Bela's audio-outputs, or even connect the audio-outlet (dac~1 2) of one Bela to the audio-inlet (adc~1 2) of another, a loud digital humming noise appears.
At first it look like it might be a groundloop issue, but when i reset the bela, the humming stops until it has rebooted, and then the humming comes back on.
I've looked for earlier threads about this and found this post of 'odiford Apr '20' : https://forum.bela.io/d/1244-digital-noise-on-audio-out.
The issue in his post seems very similar to the problem i'm experiencing. He added a soundfile that gives somewhat the same sound as what i'm hearing, but i couldn't find a good solution on that page. (maybe I mist it that this issue is discussed somewhere else or solved already).
If there is any advice what to do with this problem or how to solve it, much appriciated!
Thanks in advance,
Greatings from,
Tim
