access to Bela’s I2C via rust

Dear Bela community,

I’m currently learning Rust and Bela.
Ideally, I wanted Bela to talk to i2c-supported Eurorack module ( eg. ER-301 ). for now I successfully managed to send msg from my laptop to Bela via OSC but I can’t figure out how to forward msg from Bela to follower (I looked into include/i2c.h and can’t seems to find write method).

PS. since I use Rust, after researching I stumbled on rppl but it’s for Raspberry Pi. I was wondering is there any similar for Bela?.

look at these two methods:

they are not on the master branch but should work as a starting point.

I am not familiar with that, but it may well work. Bela is just another Linux computer, so many drivers will have a similar/same interface.
