good question ... most of the most recent ones should work, with a bit of adaptation. The IP addresses on a BeagleBoard image are 192.168.6.2 on Mac/Linux and 192.168.7.2 on Windows/Linux. On a Bela, they are the other way around (this is explained here).
So, following that tutorial using 192.168.6
everywhere instead of 192.168.7
worked for me. Also, the line
post-up route add default gw 192.168.6.1
is not actually needed: route
is not installed on Bela, and the default gateway is set two lines above, so not sure what this was needed for. Another note: you'll need to use ip route
(instead of route
) after reboot if you want to see that everything is fine.
