hello everyone, i am building my first bela projects with puredata. My patch works but i cant resize any windows in pd for this particular file, all other files are fine but this _main.pd file crashes puredata as soon as i try to resize any pd windows on osx10.3.16 and also win10. Thanks for any help

hmmm I am confused ... you mean the Pd program crashes on your computer when you try to resize the window? OS X 10.3.16 is about ten years old (and maybe the latest Pd would still run on it), but are you sure that's what you mean there?

This may be better dealt with on Pd's github. Make sure you share the source of your patch.

    Thanks for that. Yes thats right, pd crashes as soon as i try to resize any pd window inc help windows etc. Apologies it is osx 10.13.6.
    one question: Bela creates a _main.pd file when a new pd project is created, does that particular file need to be kept as the main file of that particular project?
    i think i will make a new project and copy/paste the whole patch and see if that fixes it.

      The main Pd file (the one that includes all the others, if any) on Bela has to be called _main.pd. it doesn't have to be obtained by editing the one that is created by default. It can be "any" pd file called _main.pd

      Copy & pasting also copied the problem. I took a screenshot of the patch and re-wrote it in a new file. All working now.

      If you were able to supply the "crashing" Pd file to the Pd people at the link above, they would be very happy, I am sure.
