Hi,
Can someone tell me if it is possibe to - please read carefully and attentionally - it is not rocket science to understand what I am asking (hopefully):
SCENARIO 1
[A1] Run the USB output of a digital mixer (usually used for multitrack recording/streaming) into the Bela via USB? In my case, it will be an Allen & Heath Qu32 which has a USB output for Mac/Windows/Linux with Jack Audio.
[A2] If [A1] is possible, would Bela pick up the Qu32 as a SOUND DEVICE and let me manipulate the multitrack audio within Bela? That is, multiple audio channels from the mixer.
[C] If [A1/2] is not possible, can I run LINE-LEVEL audio into the Bela via my Mixer's Aux Outputs? So that would mean using the Bela Beast setup which gives 8 stereo channels in and out. I will convert the Bela audio inputs to XLR inputs.
SCENARIO 2
[D] If [A1/2] or [C] is possible, can I send multiple channels of audio or one stereo channel over IP (wireless) from one Bela [HOST/SENDER] to another second Bela [RECEIVER]? Both Bela's will have a 5G wireless dongle.
[E] If [D] is possible, can I manipulate parameters on Bela Host with Bela Receiver over wifi via midi buttons?
What I am trying to design = Wireless In-Ear Monitor System for Musicians on Stage
A Bela host device that receives multitrack digital input from a digital mixer, process those inputs within Bela (e.g. create a mix via virtual volume sliders) and sends the mix over wireless WIFI (via 5G dongle plugged into Bela) to another Bela (which also has a 5G Wifi dongle) which plays it out via output with earphones.
Please let me know if this is possible. I need to know. If you say NO, I know I can move on and look for another device to build this.
See attached picture as an example.
Your input will greatly be appreciated.
