Hi everyone,

I'm plowing along integrating the Bela PEPPER in my modular rack and so far (analog in/out) so good. I'd now like to feed it triggers, to determine tempo, i.e. 'pinging' the random sequencer I've been building.

Logically, I first turned to using digital ins, thinking of configuring both Pd and the hardware (https://github.com/BelaPlatform/bela-pepper/wiki/Configuring-the-board) into treating one or more of the last 4 inputs as digital. But reading the documentation I was warned not to use >3.3V as digital signals (https://github.com/BelaPlatform/Bela/wiki/Hardware-explained). Modular eurorack systems use much more for triggers though, and my modules output 8, 10 or 12 Volts.

1) So I just want to check that the expected 3.3v maximum is still the case when using the PEPPER board, or whether some conversion to modular levels is don.
2) If not, I'll be of course using the analog signal, and I'll need to do some threshold & up/down edge detection to capture triggers. I was wondering if anyone already has a patch/abstraction for this, as it would save me some time, as a Pd newbie.

    that's fine with Pepper: the series resistor are there to protect it from large voltages (there is a 33k resistor in series, limiting the current to 360microamps, rendering it harmless. See here.
