Hi everyone, I'm new here and a bit of a noob so apologies for anyone dumb questions. I'm a final year Creative Music tech student at UWE and basing my final year project around the Bela.
I want to use capacitive touch sensing on 12 pads to trigger percussive sounds, I have purchased this Capacitive touch Breakout board from adafruit: https://tinyurl.com/z7x6pn6
Apparently it says it can be used with "any microcontroller as long as it has I2C" which the Bela does!
My question is: has anyone yet had any experience with using capacitive touch sensors with the Bela i.e is there any code that deals with this already? And if there is better hardware for the Bela to communicate with what is it?
at the moment I'm planning on trying to implement this one by adapting the library that is provided on their website(the link above) for use with the Bela.
Any help whatsoever will be hugely appreciated and of course when this project is up and running I shall come back here for show and tell!
Thanks already Belaheads!
