I've looked through the posts concerning phantom power and haven't found something that fits this question:
Attached is a typical phantom power circuit. For our application, we want to supply 24V to a high-impedance preamplifier, and then receive that signal on a BELA mini. Our source is from a step up 12V to 24V booster, and
I'm wondering as long as we balance the circuit (with correct resistor values that are within 1%) can we connect our +Ve to V+ and -Ve to Gnd on the BELA or will we need to do anything else prior to sending the signal to the bela? This is in lieu of a full-blown 24V phantom module, which we don't have space for in our application.
