Hello!

So after having a Bela sat on my desk for the last month and meeting the chaps at York on Friday, I thought I'd try giving the Vangeliser patch a go. I've got an ADXL 335 but thought I'd double check how to wire up and address the inputs and outputs on the pd patch. Are the adc~ inputs pins 3,4 and 5 on the analog IO? And also, how are you sending power to the sensors? Sorry, had a quick look around but couldn't find any info on wiring up basic sensors. I don't want to brick this thing before I've even used it!

cheers

Karl

Hey Karl,
have a look here wrt addressing channels from Pd: you will see that [adc~ 3] is analog input 0, [adc~ 4] is analog input 1 and so on. The same is also explained in the 08-PureData/gettingStarted example.

Note that the vangelisiser is pretty CPU-hungry, therefore it requires running using heavy ( unless you take out some of the voices to make it lighter). To get started with Heavy specifically, have a look here.

To make sure you do not brick the board, check out voltage levels
