Bitnik Why would I need to know more about interleaving?
I was just curious as to where you even found the mention of it, as there is no mention of it in the examples. I guess you may have found the interleaved and non-interleaved versions of the utilities in Utilities.h
. Your curiosity is fully justified and I hoped I'd have an answer ready for you on the wiki, but apparently we have nothing there. This does explain something about timing on Bela and it shows interleaved audio frames (though I surely answered something about it here on the forum in the past). Interleaved-vs-non-interleaved are explained in detail in the upcoming and aforementioned Knowledge Base.
I have some slides from a course I taught last year, see if they help: http://eecs.qmul.ac.uk/~gm303/interleaved.pdf
Bitnik Apologies if I missed an obvious link from the bela.io site (which I think sounds very plausible.)
There is docs.bela.io , which is the doxygen from master
, however it's not widely advertised, but I do refer people to it from here from time to time.
