Hi Giulio,
your build works! In case someone has gotten a Bela where Csound doesn't run (for example crashing with this error:
bash: line 1: 731 Segmentation fault belacsound --csd=/root/Bela/projects/exampleTempProject/_main.csd 2>&1
make: *** [runide] Error 139)
It's quick and easy to update following these 5 steps:
1) On your computer, download the .deb package: http://eecs.qmul.ac.uk/~gm303/csound-6.14-bela.deb
2) In the Bela IDE, make a new C++ project, call it updateCsound
3) drag the downloaded csound-6.14-bela.deb into the new project (that copies the file to Bela)
4) edit the render.cpp file by replacing the Code with this:
#include <Bela.h>
#include<iostream>
bool setup(BelaContext context, void userData)
{
system("apt install ./csound-6.14-bela.deb");
return true;
}
void render(BelaContext context, void userData)
{
}
void cleanup(BelaContext context, void userData)
{
}
5) Run the project.
[Alternatively you could also:
4) Open your Terminal and log into Bela by typing: ssh root@bela.local
5) once logged in to bela (it says "root@bela:" at the begin of the line) type: apt install ~/Bela/projects/updateCsound/csound-6.14-bela.deb]
You can now test Csound by running one of the Csound-examples, e.g. 0-hello-world
And you can delete the updateCsound project.
