anyone using with Bela? experiences?

Im upgrading today on a machine I use for testing (for other open source projects I'm involved in), I'll use this thread to provide any experiences I have.

Im assuming the only 'potential' problem area is the HoRNDIS driver, so will test this explicitly.
(there are no reported issues yet, but we will see... I'll use the version released for 10.11)
note: its not a big issue for me if it fails, as I can fall back to ethernet.

I have seen on the horndis github that Sierra (or at least one of its betas) does not requires hornids at all.
So, maybe give it a try without installing anything and see how it works out.

Yes, this is true... just plug in bela to macOS sierra, and bam, its present on 192.168.7.2 (in network settings its comes up at RNDIS/Ethernet Gadget), how cool is that 🙂

IDE look ok too, in Safari 10
I'll do some more testing later, but for now its looking good 👍

Amazing! I've actually been sticking with Yosemite for a while now because of the problems with El Capitan (which have supposedly been fixed now), but maybe now I can update.

I guess that means only Windows users have to install any software to use Bela, Mac and Linux will work out of the box.
