I've managed to get a 155mb wav file loaded and playing into memory for a project I'm playing with currently and I'm sort of stumped for where to go from here.
The audio file is a bit strange but it comes from another source and I don't have much control over that.
soxi myfile.wav outputs the following:
Channels : 1
Sample Rate : 16000
Precision : 16-bit
Duration : 01:21:00.00 = 77760000 samples ~ 364500 CDDA sectors
File Size : 156M
Bit Rate : 256k
Sample Encoding: 16-bit Signed Integer PCM
It's a collection of 1296 unique samples, each approximately 96000 frames in length (if my math works out).
edit I think I meant 6000 samples in length. I'm still learning.
So my questions are:
Can I change the Bela playback rate from 44100 to 16000?
Can I change the position of the 'playhead'?
Can I specify how long the playback loop should be?
