I'm working on a modulation effect in Pure Data that uses different wave folding techniques to create different waves shapes for modulation. I'm happy with the effect itself - but I'd like to have some kind of visual feedback.
I realized recently that I can just send the modulation wave signal to DAC 27 via Pure Data and have it display on the IDE scope. This provides exactly the kind of visual feedback I want...but isn't as portable / convenient as I would like.
I've since worked out how to connect my Bela Mini to wifi via an Ralink RT5370 wifi dongle. I was able to successfully get the dongle connected to my phone and I can load the IDE and input commands into the terminal IDE terminal.
My issue now is that the scope continually registers "WAITING" rather than "TRIGGERED" when loaded on my phone. In fact, I can run the IDE simultaneously from my PC (via USB) and my phone (via wifi) and my PC will register the waveform and my phone will not.
Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas for troubleshooting?
