If you can find an I2S amp that uses exactly the same data transmission format and clocks as the Bela codec, without need to configure itz then it should be pretty straightforward. The chances of that happening are fairly slim though, and you'll probably be expected to go through the datasheet of your amplifier and the Technical Reference Manual of the AM3358 SoC and find the appropriate settings for the McASP, part of which can be set through the device tree and part by amending the PRU code. The code changes should be very limited, the biggest task would be searching and understanding the datasheets. Definitely doable, but it can bee time consuming
