I'm working on getting my BM setup to fit in my pocket. It's currently in an overly large, 4cm thick enclosure that really doesn't fit a pocket. (Also it looks a lot like a home-made bomb, so another goal is to make an enclosure that isn't so likely to alarm TSA agents).
I'm teaching myself Fusion 360 at the moment, and plan to 3d print a better enclosure.
My current interface, besides audio in & out, is an (almost totally flat) 3x4 membrane keypad, and a 3.5 jack for a foot pedal.
I'm curious:
-In general, has anyone tried to see how portable/pocketable they can get with the BM?
-Specifically, would it be possible to order a Bela Mini with some of the parts not attached? I'm thinking mostly of the GPIO headers and the audio in/out headers. I would just solder straight to the board instead. And/or, should I get over my fears and remove the headers myself? I'm comfortable soldering, but have never desoldered entire headers.
Thanks for any thoughts,
Eric
