Hi there,
RoyTynan With a Bela would I replace this touch-screen UI functionality with a Browser / localhost frontend written in say React.js ?
You could. We just released an update to our code that allows to build GUIs in p5.js
, see here. More in general, you can easily have a frontend HTML/js GUI that is served from the node
server that use to run our IDE. The GUI would then communicate to the audio process via a websocket, so there is no need to have a node
addon library.
If you have a regular Bela, Linux boots from eMMC (embedded memory) or SD card. On BelaMini, there is no eMMC, so it can only boot from SD. The release image is available here.
